Pair of 1970s, Brutalist, ceramic, pottery vases. The vases are of a very similar design but not identical. The pale yellow mustard version is signed 'SAW' on the base with a gold sticker stating 'Sylvia Des Fours, Potter' and her address. The other isn't signed or marked at all. The grey version is much heavier with some areas that haven't been glazed fully. It is also made with more precise detail with a deeper more incised design. The vases have a similarity to the three towers at the Barbican. There is some deliberate crazing to the glaze but all told they're in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
Dimensions: H: 29cm 10cm square.
