Yngve Blixt (1920–1981) was one of Sweden’s leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. He was part of the Nordic pottery tradition aiming for stoneware objects with the highest perfection. After his education and early work years at the Höganäs factory, he started his own studio in the area. He became a master of throwing and glazing, leading to marvelous unique stoneware pieces. Yngve’s artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
