Set of two vivid watercolours by Valerio Mazzanti representing intense scenes of life. The larger watercolour is titled “FINE DI UN INCUBO” (End of a nightmare) and the smaller watercolour is titled “RICHIESTA DI AIUTO” (Request for Help), both dated 1977. The colours and the intricacy of the people depicted in the scenes are the artist’s trade mark. Both watercolours are framed with a gold wood frame and under glass.

Small watercolour size: H43 cm x W70 cm x D2 cm
Larger watercolour size: H46 cm x W70 cm x D2 cm

Artist’s biography:
Born in Sassari in 1937 from a Tuscan family; his artistic training takes place at the local Art Institute, under the guidance of Filippo Figari for painting, Stanis Dessy for engraving and Eugenio Tavolara for sculptures. Later he gained further experiences during his stays in Florence, Padua, Venice and Milan. His artistic activity began in 1962 with the participation in some group exhibitions and continues with the preparation of numerous personal exhibitions of regional and national nature. His painting from an initial charisma approach settles on the search for tonal colours that echo atmospheres full of dreams and memories.
