The book-matching details have been done masterfully and that can be seen on the back of the headboard with strips of veneer. \r\n\r\nThe bed comes with two wooden slats(not in the pictures) that insert on the side frame and you can put the metal frame on top.It takes a classic EU double size mattress. \r\n\r\nThis bed is a fine example of the lustrous glamour of late 1940s Art Deco European design.
