An original and absolutely stunning vintage 1970s Italian 'Quadrifoglio' floor lamp designed by Gae Aulenti for Harvey Guzzini in 1974. This striking lamp features a molded biomorphic acrylic clover-leaf shaped salmon coloured shade which is more of a taupe when it's not lit. The floor lamp has a polished chrome circular base which supports the column of four chromed-metal tubes which form the support and are incorporated into the shade.
As shown in one of the images the 'Harvey Guzzini Made in Italy' manufacturer's label is still present on the shade.
The lamp has three light sources and settings - 2 E14 screw in bulbs are set inside the shade and a single E27 screw in uplighter in the centre of the chromed metal lined shade. I have used a silver capped LED bulb for additional interest because you can also see the bulb in the top especially if you're tall. The lightbulbs can all be lit separately. The black wire flex features the original floor foot switch which makes turning the lamp off and on very easy. The shade throws a wonderful warm diffused light across the whole of the shade.
In very good vintage condition with only one previous owner who bought it in the 1970s. I also have a matching lamp in the same colour and in the same excellent condition.
