An interesting and kitsch Vallauris ceramic decorative table lamp from the 1950s/1960s of a large red and gold fish and underwater scene with three swimming fish.
The fantasy wonderland under the seabed is illuminated by a single E14 screw in bulb. The attention to detail of the fish and beautiful multicoloured hand painted decoration is impressive. Stamped Vallauris twice on the outer edge of the base .
In very good vintage condition. Rewired with a new bulb holder and brown silk twisted flex. The on/off switch sits along the flex.
