Elegant pair of French corner chairs dating from the 1900s, featuring beautifully sculpted giltwood frames with an attractive aged, slightly distressed finish. The open backs are decorated with sweeping, sinuous scrollwork, giving the chairs a refined Art Nouveau interpretation. The generously upholstered seats are covered in a neutral cream fabric, finished with a narrow decorative trim; the chairs would benefit from new upholstery.
