Large and heavy 1970s German Doria Leuchten table lamp well-made and constructed of double-layered glass with a brass ring base and matching bulb socket holder. The burgundy red coloured base with a contrasting lighter coloured swirled interior is especially vibrant when illuminated. The lamp could also be used as a floor lamp if you wish perhaps with a long vintage conical shade rather than the colourful drum shade I've chosen which is more suitable when used as a table lamp.
A single E27 screw-in lightbulb is required at the top of the lamp and two E27 screw-in lightbulbs within the glass base. To replace the lightbulbs within the glass base the brass base unscrews. A foot or hand operated black on/off switch is situated along the white flex covering both potential uses. Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order.
The lamp is in very good condition. The brass has a lovely aged golden patina.
The vintage shade is included for free but I recommend buying your own locally especially when shipping outside of the UK. The shipping can quite often cost a lot more than the shade itself.
